Just have been busy with new lambs, ducks, and cantakerous ewes that want to go under fences in order to have their lambs out in the woods, horse pasture, or other places where dogs and coyotes can eat them. I spent the evening before last fixing a fence, and last night we picked up 2 of the grandkids after work, kept them here for the night, explained oh , I dunno, 25 or 50 times that we do NOT touch the baby ducks or scare them, and am about to go outside, check to make sure that new lambs did not arrive last night and freeze or get eaten, and today we will drive about 4 hours north into Georgia to visit the great grandparents. I have just been informed that I did not put the 3-year-old's socks on like Mommy does. Hmmmm. "Does mommy put them on your ears?" "NOOOOO!" "Does mommy put them on your hands?" Nooooo, Meemaw!" It turns out that I did not yank the socks up quite high enough. Now lil' blondie with the waist length hair is waking up. I get to comb out long tangled blonde hair. I probably don't do that like her mommy either. I’m here!
