Who do we listen to? The economists are widely divergent in their views. Obama warns us it will get far worse before it gets better. Is that just hype so that he, in conjunction with a pliant Congress and Senate, can push through a more socialist agenda? The Democrats in the Congress and Senate can be counted on to line the pockets of themselves, their friends and families no matter what happens and are not overly concerned with the American people except at election time.
Well, if we prepare diligently for a complete breakdown in society with blood running in the streets, perhaps we’ll be pleasantly surprised. Plus we’ll have lots of canned goods on hand for hurricane season.
We’re sufficiently alarmed such that we’re putting all of our efforts into getting the mortgage paid off ASAP and stockpiling food and ammo. Instead of selling livestock, I’m keeping them here just in case family members need food along with a place to stay.
