Empty Parking Lots

I went to Home Depot and Target this evening for some (non Christmas) shopping. Empty parking lots. One cashier open at Home Depot (in addition to the self service checkout counters). I was the only one checking out.

The strip shopping centers were even worse.

If the government is waiting for me to suddenly get struck by a desire for cheap crap to deck the house with in order to stimulate the economy, it better think again. If they think I’m going to be buying a bunch of last minute items, better think again squared.

That can’t be swampie. I heard it from Dear Leader’s lips (well sorta) that everything is all rainbows and unicorns out there. Ya see, there were only something like 100,000 new claims for UI last month instead of 500,00 so that means the bad times are over now. You are delusional.

Back in the real world, we haven’t seen anything yet. All indications, such as you and I observe, is that we are being fed a bunch of bullshit concerning any statistics coming from the White House.

Parking lots don’t lie. Government bureaucracies lie, White House spokespersons lie, Politicians lie…and the Dinosaur Media puts a pretty bow on the lies and passes them along, cuz we wouldn’t want to scare the helpless little fools, who have cookies and Kool-aid for a snack while being told BarryO’s Bedtime Stories.
