This is what my house would look like without SwampMan’s uh, moderating influence. But sometimes he comes home and I’ve mixed some paint and have applied unrestrained color in the kitchen. To see more of what my dream house would look like, click here.
This is what SwampMan’s dream house interior would look like. Heh.

“Moderating Influence.” AKA ‘dull.’
I prefer a happy medium between the two. And I wander back and forth across the line. The outside of my house is “Kaneohe Bay green” (home depot called it ‘jade’) with Hawai’ian blue trim and metal roof. It is REALLY green. If I find a picture, I’ll show it to you. Right now, the kids have gone to the movie with Grandpa, I have the Pixie with me – she has a cold – and I’m making enchilada casserole like I learned from Grandma Elsie when I lived in Farmington, NM.
A quick note on the weather today – I LOVE IT! Breezy, and gusty and partly clouds & partly not. LOVE it!

Like that Desert Southwest Bright, don’t you? Me too, as living in the Desert can do that to you. The rental we are in is more the muted colours, though.

Yes, I do love those southwest brights! I suppose living in the southwest has ruined me for taupe interiors forever.

ohfercrissakes, sounds like me and Mrs. D to a T! Ya got some hippie tendencies there swampie, with those wild colors. I tend to lean toward Swampman’s choices.
My colors tend to be blues, grays and that’s about it…

Heh. Perhaps Miz D and I should compare notes on hot pink and purple.
