What To Do Next?

What to do next has been something that I’ve been pondering now that I’m winding down my job. Oh, sure, the government grant will pay for me to be there throughout the entire year, but the department I’m in is overstaffed. I can’t really see where they need yet another person doing nothing, for that job is being shared by others.

I have thousands of dollars’ worth of woodcarving tools, some purchased new, some from estate sales, many of which I’ve never used. I have looms and spinning wheels and lots of fleeces but no time to do anything with them. I have exercise equipment that I don’t have time to use, and a bicycle gathering dust in an outbuilding (ditto). I’d like to be able to actually do something with all those things.

But first, SwampMan tells me, I better be able to cover my expenses!
